One visit for the whole Sunol backyard
Sunol is tiny and rural, tucked into the hills south of Pleasanton, and we schedule it as a planned trip rather than a quick stop. Ranch homes and the cabins in Kilkare Woods deal with dust, mud and horse country dirt that suburban carpet rarely sees.
Sunol has a small, rural community of ranch homes, cabins in Kilkare Woods and properties with horses and acreage. Pool decks there range from plain concrete to pavers and stone, and each one gets its own method.
Local things that affect the job
Hard water lines
Hard water in Sunol leaves white scale along the waterline tile and on the coping, which we point out when we wash the deck.
Older decks
Older pool decks in Sunol often have aged concrete and worn coping, so we adjust the pressure and tell you about any cracks before we start.
Acreage and ranch pools
Pools on larger Sunol properties sit near paddocks and open land, and the dust that blows in needs a thorough wash before summer.
How we clean pool areas in Sunol
- Umbrellas, shade sails and loungers get low pressure, never the full force of the machine.
- Algae and dark spots on the deck are pre-treated so they lift instead of smearing.
- Everything is rinsed at the end and the furniture goes back where it was.

Pool Area Cleaning in Sunol: questions
Is Sunol too far for you to come for a small job?
No, but we plan it. Sunol jobs are usually scheduled on days we are already in Pleasanton, which keeps the travel reasonable for you. Tell us what you need and we will give you a day and a written price.
Is pressure washing safe for my pool deck in Sunol?
Yes, when the pressure matches the surface. Concrete takes a surface cleaner, while softer stone and painted surfaces get lower pressure.
Can you remove algae from the pool deck in Sunol?
Most algae and dark spots come off with pre-treatment and a surface cleaner. Deep stains in old concrete may lighten rather than disappear.
